

The Spanish livestock herd has undergone rapid development over the last few years as regards the number of heads and its quality. Consumers are demanding higher quality in the products they consume, thereby making changes in production systems necessary.
These changes in livestock production systems have led to the need to produce specific animal feeds on the basis of the animals themselves and their destination.
In order to meet these new challenges, it was necessary to design the factory taking into consideration the above-mentioned conditioning factors, ranging from the plant’s location to the reception and output systems, as well as the product’s final distribution.
