Construction of five 49.9 MW
solar thermal plants
Each thermal solar plant has a power output of 49.9 Mw and will use cylindrical parabolic reflector technology. Each plant will have one solar farm measuring 510,120 m2 capable of generating 175 million kilowatts of purely solar electricity. Thanks to their 6-hour thermal storage capacity plus 25% security, each project will provide electric power supplies to the grid without fluctuations or interruptions, thereby supporting the electric grid's stability during 3,525 hours of nominal load.
