TANY NATURE, a market garden produce company belonging to the Atanasio Naranjo Group, enlarged its market garden produce processing facility located in the town of Zurbarán. The enlargement allowed Tany Nature to increase its surface area from 14,000 m2 to a total of 26,000 m2, as well as boost its processing capacity from 380 tons a day to 600 tons a day. This led to the restructuring of this fruit processing complex, so that the former building is now dedicated to packaging and storing nectarines and peaches while the one that has recently been built has specialised in smaller fruit like cherries and apricots.
This investment in the fruit product packaging, conservation and storage phases also brought with it an increase in the surface area of land dedicated to fruit trees, which increased by 700 new hectares to a total of around 2,000 hectares, to supply the new macro processing facility, one of the most important in the world.
